Mister Devil! Remember me, Loki of ye olde world? I need your assistance in heroically saving the world. [ And me.

Sure sounds pintsize, did someone's voice unbreak. ]

[He would never know this, but this text took her an unreasonably long time to craft, and an unreasonably longer time to send.]

Hey. Just wanted to say thanks again for last night. I had an amazing time.

[All this talk about deities and divine influence in town has set her on edge over the last few days. Not at the concept of there being a god hidden away somewhere, exactly, given her knowledge of who and what her partner is, but it's larger in scope than she's used to. Mostly because she feels the shift of the town and the air before the rumors about a god even settles in. The odd, unsettling feeling like spiders were creeping slowly up her spine, or the uncanny sense that she was being watched.

At first she had been content to focus on other matters. Cases needed to be solved and she was still searching for information on the portals to find a way home. And trouncing off into the woods on a hunch just seemed like a bad idea in general, so she let the talk pass her by at first. And then she had that weird dream of that temple and suddenly it felt like some kind of chasm had opened inside of her; like it was trying to pull her in, beckoning her out. But she's always been good at resisting these types of things, apparently.

Still, tonight it's enough to move her. Not out into some nameless field or wooded highland, on, but to a place she knows she can trust. Where she'll feel safe. It's with that thought that she creeps out of bed and leaves for Lux, having already discovered the key Lucifer had snuck onto her keychain. It's late, far later than is probably polite to go see him, but he'd told her himself: she's welcome there anytime. So she sends him a text just in case he's awake and then quietly lets herself in, heading up the stairs and to the elevator that takes her up to his penthouse.

Hopefully Lucifer doesn't mind the late night intrusion.]
